1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ablazers Performing Arts School services and website (www.ablazers.com). By registering your child for our classes or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services
We provide performing arts education including drama, dance, and voice training for children aged 2-18 at our locations in Harlow, Great Yarmouth, and Torbay. Our programmes include:
- Spark Crew: Ages 2-6
- Ignite Circle: Ages 7-12
- Flare Squad: Ages 13-18
- Glow Fam: Online community
- Kindle Hub: SEND support programme
3. Free Taster Week
We offer a free taster week for new students. During this week:
- Attendance is free with no obligation to continue
- No payment card details are required
- Students can attend any scheduled midweek session
- After the taster week, you may choose to enrol for the full term
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Term Fees
- Full term fees are £90 per month for a 12-week term
- Fees are payable monthly by direct debit or bank transfer
- Midweek sessions (3:20pm - 4:20pm) are free for enrolled students
- Saturday sessions (12 noon - 3pm) are included in the term fee
4.2 Late Payment
Fees must be paid by the due date specified on your invoice. Late payments may result in:
- A reminder email sent within 7 days of the due date
- Suspension of classes if payment is more than 14 days overdue
- We understand circumstances vary - please contact us if you have difficulty paying
4.3 Refunds
- Refunds for missed classes are not generally provided
- Pro-rata refunds may be considered for long-term illness (2+ weeks with medical evidence)
- If we cancel a class, a make-up session will be offered or a pro-rata credit applied
5. Class Attendance
5.1 Attendance Policy
- Regular attendance is encouraged for your child's progress and group cohesion
- Please notify us if your child will be absent (via email or in-person)
- Missed classes cannot be rolled over to the next term
5.2 Drop-off and Collection
- Parents/guardians must sign children in at the start of each session
- Children must be collected promptly at the end of each session
- Only authorised adults may collect children (please inform us of any changes)
- For Spark Crew (ages 2-6), parents/guardians are required to stay during the session
5.3 Late Collection
If you are running late to collect your child, please contact us immediately. Repeated late collection may result in additional charges.
6. Student Conduct
We expect all students to:
- Treat fellow students, staff, and property with respect
- Participate positively in class activities
- Follow instructions from teachers and staff
- Wear appropriate clothing for physical activity
Persistent disruptive behaviour may result in a discussion with parents and, in serious cases, suspension from classes.
7. Health and Safety
- Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs
- Children who are unwell should not attend classes
- We maintain first aid trained staff at all locations
- All venues are risk assessed and meet health and safety standards
8. Photography and Media
We may take photographs and videos during classes and performances for:
- Promotional materials (website, social media, marketing)
- Documentation of student progress
- Performance recordings for parents
You will be asked to provide consent for photography during registration. You may withdraw this consent at any time by notifying us in writing.
9. Cancellation and Withdrawal
9.1 By You
- You may withdraw your child at any time by giving us written notice
- We require 4 weeks' notice for withdrawal
- Fees paid for the current month are non-refundable
9.2 By Us
We reserve the right to cancel classes or remove a student in the following circumstances:
- Venue unavailability or force majeure
- Serious or repeated misconduct
- Non-payment of fees
- Safeguarding concerns
10. Liability
- We maintain appropriate public liability insurance
- We are not liable for loss or damage to personal property
- We take reasonable care but cannot guarantee prevention of all accidents
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is fit to participate
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and course materials, is owned by Ablazers Performing Arts School and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
